When will Allyssa and Jeremy be at the resort?
Allyssa and Jeremy will be staying at Majestic Elegance Punta Cana Friday, January 8th through Sunday, January 17th, 2027. We invite you to celebrate for as long as you'd like with us! The wedding is January 11th. If you have an obligation where you can't be at the wedding, you can still vacation with us!
Can we book dates outside of January 8th through the 13th?
Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms for these dates. We did so to make sure there are rooms available for our guests locked in at the lowest rates. Whether you want to stay the whole time, longer, or shorter, please work with our travel agent. Please note, Majestic Elegance requires a 3 night minimum stay.
When do you need us to RSVP by?
The sooner, the better!
Once we know how many guests are joining us, we can plan details such as the reception location, seating arrangements, and the like. The resort has minimums and maximums for each venue, so we have to adjust our plans based on how many guests we have.
Our travel agent has set a deadline of June 3rd, 2026 for placing a deposit on a room. If you think you may come, please submit your refundable deposit to them by that date. That is separate from RSVP'ing to us here on this website!
We ask that you RSVP through this site by October 20th, 2026.
Why do you have such an early deadline (June 3rd) to reserve a room?
We had to book a set of rooms for everyone. Having that date allows us to release the rooms if needed, and it allows our guests to ensure they have a room at the lowest rate that we were able to secure (room rates have already gone up since we locked in the price). Even if you reserve a room and need to cancel or make changes, your deposit is refundable until October 21st. If you miss a deadline - please still work through the travel agent, as they will still be able to work with you on getting the best deal!
Our travel agent cannot guarantee room availability or pricing after June 3rd.
Where is your wedding registry?
We decided not to set up a wedding registry. Your presence at our wedding and the time you spend with us in Punta Cana are the greatest gifts.
Who do we reach out to if we have questions?
If you have any questions about travel (transportation, lodging, the resort, or otherwise), please reach out to our travel agent (they are amazing to work with): To speak to a TripGuy representative directly, please email the team: JerAndLyss@Tripguy.com, or contact them by phone: 888-990-8747 ext. 300. If you have any questions they can't answer, please reach out to Jeremy or Allyssa!
What is the timeline of events?
We recommend you get settled into the resort before the 11th (arrive the 10th or before). Other than the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, we do not have any other scheduled events - so you can have fun celebrating with us or enjoying the all-inclusive amenities your own way! The timeline for when guests should be in place for the ceremony and other events the day of the 11th will be shared on this website as the wedding date approaches. We do not have specifics because we do not have RSVPs yet. Once we know who is coming, we can work directly with the resort wedding planning team to set up a timeline of events.
How do we get to the resort?
Fly into PUJ airport from your airport of choice. Flights from the Midwest are high in spring, and tend to go down over time. Our travel agent has set up round-trip airport transfers for $60 per person (~$30 savings from what the resort offers). That means you and your crew will all ride together from the airport to the resort, and from the resort back to the airport when the fun comes to an end without any additional planning or hassle on your end. The resort has parking on-site, but any arrangements for a rental car will be handled on your own. Since the resort is safe, secure, and all-inclusive (and we will be there), there isn't a need to leave the resort!
What name do we use to RSVP?
Under the RSVP page of this website, enter the first and last name of one guest of your party as it is written on your invitation (or, if you received "The XYZ Family," please use a first name and your last name). You will have the option to RSVP for just you, or your whole party. The reception and ceremony RSVPs will pop up for each guest. Children may not be receiving the option to attend the reception. Even if the reception RSVP pops up first, that does not indicate the order of events. Please reach out to Allyssa or Jeremy if you have questions or trouble RSVPing.
